Time for a beer review. Up today: Hex, Magic Hat's fall seasonal.First impression, a rather candy-ish smell. That was verified by the taste.There's some weird candy taste in there, like licorice or something. Not good for this reviewer, as I don't like licorice. But it's not overpowering. Definitely heavy on the malt, and this was a good day for it – a cool front finally made things feel like fall down here in Texas.
Overall: A solid, if unspectacular, Oktoberfest beer. I'd give it a low B.
