New Beer Column at the 'Statesman'

Patrick Beach, long one of the Austin American-Statesman's best feature writers, debuted a beer column in today's issue. Give it a read – he writes up the Dogfish Head tasting and film festival held last week at Alamo Drafthouse (which I had to miss – **sob!**). If the Statesman will have the good sense to create a regular link to the column, I'll stick in my blogroll.

I went to the first night of the film fest; it was fantastic! Check it out next year if you can.

The dogfish head beer tasting was awesome. They served up 12 different beers and had a cheese to go with each one. A guy from Alamo said they would like to make the beer tastings a monthly event with a different microbrewery each month.
