Commentary: Of the ones I've had, I can say they are deserving winners. I haven't tried either one of those Fort Worth beers, though. Sounds like I need to make a trip to Cowtown! Actually, Rahr gets distributed here in Austin, so maybe I can track down that bock.

Lee, Lee, Lee. You didn't mention Lone Star's pair of silver medals.
(Or that Old Milwaukee Light took the gold in American-Style Light Lager. Yeah, they're not a Texas beer, but how could you pass that up?)
Personally, I like the winners for Category 35, the hobo division.
Hmmm … I guess I overlooked Lone Star because I did a word search on "Texas" — which would exclude Lone Star because it is officially brewed by Pabst out of WOODRIGE, ILLINOIS! (Cue the cowboys saying "New York City?!? Get a rope."
Good lord, I'm damned glad I didn't have to be a judge in Category 35.
Actually, I believe both Lone Star and Milwaukee Light are both contract-brewed by Miller here in Fort Worth.
