Poll: What's your favorite seasonal bock of 2010?

I'm really partial to a good (true) bock, and I've really enjoyed three of them this year: Sierra Nevada Glissade, Abita Mardi Gras Bock, and Saint Arnold Spring Bock. I can't wait to try the Maibock from Boulevard, but it's not out until April, and I'm not certain they'll send it to Texas.

What is your favorite seasonal bock of this year? One of those? Another? Register your vote in the Comments section. (And don't say Shiner – it's neither a true bock nor seasonal.)

Not even including Rahr's Bucking Bock? New recipe this year, 64.5% bockier.

Maybe it was all the "Who Dat" but I gotta go Mardis Gras Bock. That was surprisingly good.

St. Arnold Spring Bock, no doubt!

I've got to say Abita MArdi Gras Bock so far...

Paul: LOL at your preciseness. I'll definitely have to check that out.

St. Arnold Spring Bock--Yes sir!

Sprecher (WI) Maibock is first rate, too, though I did like St. Arnold's Spring Bock. I'll give a quick nod to Shiner, as well, since it's one of the easiest drinking brews in TX.

St. Arnold Spring Bock, what better way to welcome the mid-point of the winter season?

Saint Arnold Spring Bock, by far

Sierra Nevada was pretty good, but being a KC boy, I'm ready for Boulevard's Boss Tom's to come out (formerly the Maibock).

Too bad you can't carry on six packs anymore, because I'm coming to Barton Creek on April 12th. Otherwise, I'd bring you some.

Can it be shipped?

Matt: Thanks for the offer (and no, it's illegal to ship to Texas), but since Boulevard ships to Texas and I have lots of family and beer blogger friends up in KC, I'm sure I'll get some Boss Tom one way or another. Have fun here in Austin!

Okay, if we split Brew's vote between his two choices, the tally so far:

Saint Arnold Spring Bock: 5.5
Sierra Nevada Glissade: 3
Abita Mardi Gras Bock: 2
Sprecher: 0.5

Sprecher gets half a vote but Rahr doesn't even get counted?

I'm always a loyal SA Spring Bock fan, but the new-recipe Bucking Bock has it beat this year.

Well, Paul, you did mention that Rahr's was not a seasonal, but what the heck, sure, they get one vote. I need to swing by Spec's and try it.

Anchor Bock
Indian Wells Lobotomy Bock
Shiner and Saint Arnold's are tied for third.

Bucking Bock is a spring seasonal, (never said otherwise). Just released after the roof collapse.

Paul: Sorry, your original "not even" phrasing confused me.

Going to go with Anchor Bock as well. Yummy! Just picked some up today! :-)
