Hey fellow Texans, I'm putting together one of those year-end list thingies that we journalists just love to do every December. Tell me: What do you think were the top events and happenings of the Texas craft beer scene in 2011, especially in Austin?
I need your responses soon — I have to have this done before I go to bed tonight. Thanks.

I really enjoyed that sour Jester King thing. Can't think of anything else too spectacular, but I've missed a lot this year.
Austin Beer Week, notably the Draught/Antonelli's yearly Beer/Cheese pairing and the Draught Anniversary.
Hearing in Authentic Beverages Company, Inc., Jester King Craft Brewery, L.L.C. and Zax, L.L.C. v. Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, et. al.
First-ever Dallas Beer Week, including a monumental Mikkeller/Jester King beer-pairing dinner and culminating in cancellation of the associated Festival
Deep Ellum Brewing Co opens, first package brewery in Dallas in 5+ years
Don't forget the Jester King legal suit, possibly the biggest moment of the year
And lest we forget, Pierre Celis passed away in April.
Thanks everybody, especially Paul. I totally forgot that Celis' death was this year.
other than the JK-TABC case and ruling, there were several great beer dinners. Avery and Brooklyn at 24Diner and the 2nd (anual?) (512) dinner at Olivia's. Or just Austin Beer week in general. Also, can't forget TX Craft Brewer's fest.
Cheers,
-Tim
