Live Oak to Start Bottling Soon!

This is a great day in the history of Texas beer. According to my Facebook friend Tony Drewry, Live Oak Brewing — which, in my humble opinion, is the best brewery in Texas — is going to start bottling soon. Tony posted this picture to Facebook.

I guess it depends on your definition of "soon" as he indicated that they wouldn't be bottling until they move the brewery to the new location, which I don't think they've even started yet.

I was at their Saturday tour on April 28 where they said they are aiming to move to their new facility by 2014. The new facility is going to be much larger to accomodate increased capacity and a bottling line. It will be out near the airport somewhere. As Steve says above, I assume they won't be bottling until then.
